- You own more podcast t-shirts than dress shirts
- Bad audio upsets you
- You’ve forgotten to hit record, more than once
- You’ve asked more than one person to subscribe, rate, and review
- You’ve debated whether there’s a discoverability problem
- You know what a double-ender is
- You know Podchaser is the IMDb for podcasts
- You can report your downloads stats, as of three minutes ago
- You consider podcast conferences as reunions
- You’ve recorded under a blanket, in a closet, or both at the same time
If you have one to add, please leave a comment.
I would add that all your examples also work if you are a podcast editor.
I have done all of the above at one point between 2010-2015, but many of them still apply today (bad audio, more podcast shirts than dress shirts, and I teach how to record a double-ender).
LOVE THIS ANDY!
Steve, I believe podcast editors take this to another level. You can probably recognize visual waveforms as um, aaahs, and mouth clicks. If you’re like me, you may also like collecting plug-ins!
