I was skeptical

I'm always skeptical when it comes to new websites where I'm spending a good amount of money and when it's a website that I've never seen before. But I bought this at875r and it has exceeded my expectations to be honest. I didn't really know what I was gonna expect since I have never bought a great mic yet. But I have a great ear and trust me I do, and this mic is great. Not just for music, which I won't use it for. Im planning on other things but this is great.

Super Surprised

I ordered these AT875R shotgun mics a couple of weeks ago for a production studio project that I am working on with a relatively tight budget. I own my own small home recording studio and have had a fair amount of experience with live sound and studio recording, having played in bar bands for more years than I care to admit. I say this simply to illustrate my experience level with microphones in general. I honestly was shocked by how nice these mics sound for their price point. The build of these mics feels solid. They are light which I would count as a positive for my use as they will be mounted overhead of our recording subjects. There seems to be a sweet spot at around 24-30 inches from the front of the mic and I found the off axis rejection to be better than I expected from a mic in this price range. I have owned several AT microphones over the years and I have always been pleased with them for whatever application I purchased them for. These AT875R's are no exception. I cannot speak to longevity for these mics as I have only owned them for 2 weeks as I stated above, however my expectation is that for what they will be used for and the care that they will receive that they will outlast my current use for them.

Congregation Mics

Ordered a pair of these to hear our congregation singing in our In Ear Monitors. WOW! They worked great for this purpose. Shocked at how sensitive they are. Highly recommended!
